Spaceship. Songer. Singwriter. Instrumentalister. Curator for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's hitRECord.

As Audio Curator for Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s production company hitRECord, through which his songs The Spaces Between and Of the Future were produced for the Emmy Award-winning TV series Hit Record on TV, Spaceship is a versatile artist whose background also includes graphic design, fine arts, video and film editing above his litany of musical talents.

Twenty years ago he started to teach himself how to play guitar, and along the way he taught himself how to play many of the instruments featured on his last two albums, Shake Time Loose and As The Head Turns: acoustic guitar, electric guitar, 12-string guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, keyboard, harmonica, melodica, alto saxophone, maracas, synths, autoharp, tambourine and kazoo.

Spaceship was featured by Jango Music and Radio Airplay as part of their Center Stage Feature in April 2016. His Tiny Desk Concert video was included in NPR’s "Animal Friend’s of the 2016 Tiny Desk Concert". His songs have also been featured in commercials and online videos, such as the Refinery29 web series Beauty Prep School, which featured his song Sweet Marie Bee.

Aside from his work on hitRECord, curating and editing videos featuring selected music and musical direction, he has mixed and/or scored several short films. Most recently, Spaceship was a composer, lead editor and final audio mixer for the award-winning short film Names on the Wall.

I Am Spaceship.
